On the eve of the Comics’ Choice Awards the guys were meant to interview some of the nominees and have a quiet chat about comedians and their social media plans. But when you invite a few comedians into the studio you forget that some of them hang with an entourage! What it turned into was the most fun Dave has had on this podcast so far. So Eric Jansen, Chris Mapane, Thabiso Mhlongo, Bongani Dube, and Nathi Maki – who drove from Cape Town to be here – filmed it all. And even Gino Fernades joined in. Fallon and Carla from Trioh Promotions were there too to give everyone some social media advice… and then the whole show went pear-shaped right after Breakfast Beer tasting started.

Sometimes this show takes a direction that was never intended. What started out as a normal comedy interview with Mo Mothebe is abruptly diverted by the deep and brooding muses of Tats Nkonzo. The guys get really heavy on comedy influences and then the podcast ends. All too soon. So expect part two next week.
