A Japanese chef has combined our favourite things – cute animals and sugar! Keisuke Inagaki has been a chef at his restaurant in Japan for the last 18 years. He rose to Instagram fame from his Pokemon and anime pancake art, and this time round he’s created a lifelike animal series. The 46-year-old chef began making pancakes in 2011 to raise spirits after the devastating nuclear disaster in Fukushima, Japan.

A teenager is bringing domino artistry to the mainstream by creating mesmerising structures using thousands of dominoes. Artist Lily Hevesh, 18, first started working with dominoes aged 10… and now her YouTube channel Hevesh5 (which publishes stunning videos of her domino structures) is nearing one million subscribers. Her immense structures can take anywhere from eight hours to a few days, with some pieces taking even longer – Hevesh’s glow in the dark domino creation was built over the space of a month.
