1:38:00 contrary to what the most prevalent trade unions ended up doing with their investment money, Solidarity took its Boufonds and built their own educational institution in Monument Park, Pretoria, apart from other community-based facilities. I am convinced that the fundamental difference between Solidarity and the COASTU-affiliated trade unions is not just the attitude towards its constituency, but the underlying value system that they live every day when advancing and protecting their community’s interests.
