Charles started off in politics and lobbying... but we all make mistakes. Fate had a future carved out for him in law, and Charles specialises in corporate, mergers and acquisitions law, especially in the retail, franchise and mining sectors. He has extensive experience in advising domestic and international clients on their South African and African operations. He does all of this while being cool, calm and collected, in the comfort of his office. Charles, a Director of Fluxmans since 2016, has a BA LLB( Wits), certificates in Mining Law and IT Law and a member of the Law Society of South Africa’s tax matters and exchange control committee. And beyond the law, Charles has also written a comedy series for TV - watch this space!

Full of wisdom and fascinating stories – that’s one way to describe Lionel Dos Passos. He started out studying a BSc at Wits in 1996 majoring in Microbiology, Genetics and Advanced Biology. He later completed his LLB (with distinction) at Wits in 2001 and commenced articles at Fluxmans in 2002, becoming a Director in 2007. Lionel’s focus is litigation and insolvency and business rescue. He also keeps the balance with a wide range of interests and hobbies including travelling, reading extensively, going to gym and watching Premier League football.

From Johannesburg Junior Mayor and head boy of Sandringham High School to director at Fluxmans, that's Darryl Furman for you. Darryl started exceeding expectations at an early age. Darryl was admitted as an attorney in 2003 after obtaining a BCom (Law) and LLB degrees and admitted as a conveyancer in 2005. He specialises in Commercial and Property Law and has been a Director at Fluxmans since 2008. As one of the top conveyancers in Johannesburg, Darryl knows how to handle tough situations. Do good fences make good neighbours? He’ll tell you. What hasn’t changed over the years is that he still enjoys “date night” with his wife! Galia’s no slouch – she’s a member of the Golden Key Society (Top 15% of her year). She completed her BCOM in 2008 majoring in law and marketing then completed an LLB in 2010. She completed her articles at Fluxmans in 2012 and became a Director in 2017. Focusing on litigation, Galia obtained her right of appearance to appear in the High Court. When it comes to commercial and residential evictions, Galia knows how to skilfully navigate her way through the process and challenges, and there’s never a dull day.

Danie has been a director at Fluxmans since 2010. His journey started at RAU in 1980, and he obtained his BA LLB degree in 1985. For a while he lectured in commercial law, estoppel and unjust enrichment, whilst completing his thesis for his LLM degree. In contrast to many, Danie practiced as an advocate at the Johannesburg Bar, before he decided to join Fluxman Rabinowitz Raphaely Weiner as an attorney. Specialising in commercial and labour litigation, he also has a broad spectrum of experience from when he was Group Human Resources and Legal Director on the Metcash Trading Africa Board of Directors.

Trevor graduated from the University of Cape Town with a BA Degree (1998), an LLB Degree (1991) and an LLM Degree (2003). He was admitted as an attorney in 1994. He practiced in various firms, big and small, in Cape Town, Sydney and Johannesburg, and eventually joined Fluxmans as a director in 2014 in the Litigation Department. When not litigating, Trevor keeps an eagle eye on international affairs, is an avid reader of biographies and autobiographies and keenly follows the fortunes of our national sports teams on the international stage.
